I am fed up with the ubiquitous and boring shades of silver/grey that car manufacturers produce today. Is there a popular model (under £20k) that is done in green or gold?
Most manufacturers do a range of colours. Silver/grey seems to be the choice of the punters at the moment. I know Skoda do a lovely deep red, a blue and even a yellow on some models. Most display the range in the showrooms or in the on line car specs
how about the green that ford use on the fiesta orthe Mazda 2,as in the tv advert
rather bright green,
or hyundai.
Fiat.
Skoda
all do greens.
not much joy on real gold colour just champagnes.
anyway now white is back in popularity ie: the new black
I agree completely. If you look at any car park or line of traffic the cars are such dull, dark and boring colours. They all seem to be dark greys, black or silver. Whatever happened to the palette of colours from the 60s, 70s and 80s when vehicles were bright and cheery? My VW Golf is bright orange (I've got used to it over 23 years) and I can see it from hundreds of yards away amongst all the modern grey and silver non-entities. It's the only car in a car park with any kind of character.
I had a beaut lime green Vauxhall Tigra - perfect car, no trouble but my OH didn't like it so the bukker replaced it with a fkuccig silver ubiquitous, common as muck, drug-dealer BMW that I drowned in a lake. I've now got a silver Jag - class !
Best bit is the panic alarm....blaring horns & flashing lights to alert where its parked !
