How was the other twin killed in his cell near the end?

don't think I did either but they realised he would be after the other twin but got there too late.

Even if he would have been allowed in the cell with the briefcase, it would have been searched, and they dont let visitors in the cells, so its still a mystery to me captain how he died!
So annoying not knowing :-(
