Unprofessional behaviour of Police Marksman.
The Police marksman who shot and killed banker Mark Sauders apparently inserted Duran Duran and Barbara Streisand song title into his testimony at at hearing into the banker's death.
That's just blatant contempt and insensitivity.

How does someone so daft get to carry a gun?

"Throw him to the wolves!!!" "Chuck him into the stocks!!!" "Shoot him at dawn!!!"
Honestly, talk about stiff upper lip??? Worse things happen in life. If this is the most heinous thing which befalls any of us, we'd be extremely lucky. Some of you lot will be having this guy incarcerated in the Tower if you had your way. Saddos. It's not that when he's putting his life on the line to protect Joe Public, is it? That's simply taken for granted, but woe betide him if he dares show a modicum of so called disrespect to "the system".
Get a life! It's far too short to waste on fretting about total trivialities.

I think that's going too far.
Eyethankyew - cut the copper a bit of slack- You are getting too upset now and he doesn't deserve any of the punishments you are suggesting.
I'd put him before the Juke Box Jury and let them decide.

Speaking from personal experience, most Police Officers encounter violent situations an unspecified amount of time in a career, which could amount to 30 years.
The mental and stress related scars cannot be physically seen of course, and in order to deal with the aftermath of situations which have been life threatening, it is very common for Officers to deal with them by using levity which others may perceive as disrespect.
To simply decry and condemn an Officer for such behaviour, hence, is to display vast ignorance of the very reality of situations caused by other human beings which are required to be dealt with by other humans, albeit in uniforms. What must never be forgotten, though, is the fact that no amount of training can adequately equip a Police Officer to be "different" to Joe Public - all of us are mere humans, nothing more, nothing less.
Remember that before making ridiculous and ill informed comment.
