Oh, Lofty ... you should try it.

I enjoy going to watch our local team play. It's jolly.

don't worry JJ, it's always happening..lol

Well, I'm glad you did, Vibe.

I mean, crikey ... the only factual information stemmed from your mention of a player called Carol (or Carroll).

Oh, no, hang on ... there was the bit about Tottenham, as well.

Well, it was quite educational, as it turned out.
I think it is everywhere Bobbi!! But fortunately not in this household! No talk of footie whatsoever. Mr LL is not interested and son hates it with a passion!!

JJ I can't think of anything worse than watching a game of football. I could be out in the garden or going for a walk across the fields enjoying myself!!
I am always happy when they win LL, especially over their rivals Sunderland ;-)

Your last win against Sunderland was quite big, wasn't it, Mopsy?

I remember them chatting about it on the radio that week.

LL ... I used to think that too, but my pal and I go to the pub at the ground, have a bottle of wine and a few voddies, shout our heads off at the football match, then come back into town for a meal. It's really good fun.

You should try it once.
football is excellent when your winning but a total morgue when you lose :o

"Lose" ?

Mmmm ... nope ... I'm not familiar with that word.

I'm more used to words like ... "eight" "points" "clear" "at" "the" "top"

JJ. I am 63 and last went to a football match with my Dad when I was about 10. It was at Fulham. I was not impressed. I just have no interest whatsoever even though my Dad loved it. I would never have married a man who loved football!!
It was dead funny JJ SFC had 0191 551 5123 , note the middle numbers..ha-ha
since getting beat 5-1, the number changed to an 0870 one,,,
