Today I have been on Answerbank for exactly five years! I have asked 548 questions, and given 8,585 answers - what a sign of a wasted life!

Must admit I love it, particularly Animals and Nature, although occasionally I do get a bit 'blunt' with some of the posters. My biggest gripe though is people who don't acknowledge an answer. My favourite ABer has to be Buenchico - such knowledge particularly on Travel, couldn't believe how incredibly accurate the timings were for buses and trains when I had to catch a plane from Finland. I have also met two ABer's in the 'flesh' at dog shows and we are now great mates (thugulike and jules).

Congratulations, lankeela. Whenever there's a dog question I always think "Wait,lankeela is certain to know " (and you do).

By the way, there's at least a third ABer at dog shows (me; every day at Cruft's and generally at the bigger shows in this region, the East of England )..

Congratulations Lankeela. That's longer than me and far more posts. Did you give up on the TV five years ago too then?

Oh no, thats always on in the background, so I can keep up with the soaps. Only things I leave the computer to watch is Spooks, X Factor (can't explain why though!)
and occasionally things like Downton Abbey. Everything else is just background noise, although I do like QI.
