The lyrics seemed ok for a while but he can't sing, (I know a good singist when I hear one, not many are as great or as good as Garth ) but the idea is sound.

I think he's trying to sell records based on who he is and maybe a little emotional pulling on your heart strings and not his musical talent,If you already give donations to the soldiers then maybe you wouldn't have to buy this in order to be seen to supporting your troops.
