12 Answers
not exactly covered, but he had a smear of poo on his shoulder. i managed to rub alot of it off with dam kitchen roll, but he doesnt really like being handled. I dont think i could bath him. do i need to do more? will he groom it himself? will it make him ill, or is his stomach made of sterner stuff? do you think he rolled in it himself, on purpose?

It won't hurt him if he has to lick it off himself (their tongues and stomachs cope with licking their bums, after all) but you run the risk of him rubbing it off around the house. Use a dampened flannel so you can scrub a bit or old towel. If you can hold him down on the worktop by his shoulders with his bottom under your armpit, he can't do much about it. He won't like you for a couple of hours, but it'll be worth it.

To take him to the vet I have to fight him in to his carrier which always results and me ending up with mutilated arms/face and when he gets there the first thing that happens - he gets sedated. There are notes on his files that he must not be treated for anything until he is sedated. Some cats are simply little *****
