Got to cook the turkey 2 day's before Christmas day because I'm on call, would it be best to serve it cold with hot veg and gravy, or to heat it up in the microwave and then serve.
Is it safe to reheat turkey ?

Be careful in your first cook to leave the turkey barely cooked to the max and properly rested (20 mins under alu foil and a t-towel to get it moist as possible, and your carved portions should then be much better (and delicious in sandwiches etc).
One other nice way of handling turkey at the end is to make a curry or an adaption of a coronation chicken.........
Have you seen the Bernard Matthews jokes on the joke page - well worth seeing by the way........e.g. after his funeral he will be cremated - at gas mark 6 for 5 hours

when making a hot dinner from leftover turkey or chicken, I would always put the sliced meat into an ovenproof dish and pour COLD gravy over it. (you shouldnt put hot gravy onto cold meat) If microwaving, cover with cling film or microplate and reheat for about 5 mins,If doing in oven, cover with foil and cook in oven with roasts etc for about 45mins -1 hr until really hot. You can do the same each day, using just enough for your needs
