Only just got into this and have managed to get several 'friends' but I want to remove some of them - how do I get rid of them and will they know they have been dumped?

Click onto their profile and scroll down on the left hand side there should be a button that says remove/block.

They won't be notified but may notice if they can't access your profile. If you don't wan them to be able to contact you at all, block them, instead of just removing them, then yu won't even appear in mutual friend lists or if they search for you.

Go to their profile, scroll down, on the left there is a 'Revove from friends' link.

Cick on "friends" on the left hand side of the page. Then at the top click on "edit friends" then find the one you want to remove and click the X next to their name. You can remove them like that. The won't get told you have removed them. The only way they will know is if they somehow notice you are not on their friend list any more.

Thanks all, managed to find it. Nothing sinister, just set it up for my dog breed and I was finding other people putting lots of drivel on that I haven't got time to read. Bit like CB really......
