Recently I saw an advert in the Sunday paper which stated "over 50 paying more than £220 for your insurance" etc and a few testimonials from saitisfied customers ! I thought it too good to be true but rang anyway and they quoted me on a 7yr old Citreon Picasso a quote of £ 960 !!! followed by a quote in writing.
I want to report them as unfair advertsing, how do I go about this ?
help appreciated

You'll proably find that the small print of the advert says something like (x percent of customers would pay less than £220)
You can't..
Just because they couldn't provide you with a competitive quote doesn't necessarily mean that they don't for 'everybody' who contacts them.

There will be enough disclaimers, etc. to render your complaint utterly toothless.
