One Ronnie Show

I didn't see the show but was told it was rubbish so I watched a ¼ of it on the video clip and from what I saw I have to agree . Was it all rubbish like that or is the rest of the clip worth watching.

It was so bad I felt embarrassed for the participants. Surely sure of those taking part would have had a quiet word with him or the programme makers to say this is poor.

Well it wasnt rubbish but they tried to replace Ronnie Barker with" celebs " and it just didnt work

I thought it was quite amusing but each to their own taste I guess.

I should add that I was looking forwards to it, and I thought the trailers made it look as if it would be good. Maybe it improved but I switched off after about 20 minutes

It was mince and he semed to be looking over the shoulders of his co-actors as if reading idiot boards.

I think you needed to understand the basic concept (i.e. creating new 'Two Ronnies' sketches but using guest stars to take Ronnie B's place) in order to really grasp the humour.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the programme.

I don't know were they get the idiots from who come up with these ideas? The BBC used to be the finest broadcaster in the world by a long way. The standard of TV programming - and of the BBC in general - in the last two decades has become so bad I don't even watch TV anymore. They have put PCism before quality.
