page small?

when i go to a web page and click on it it comes up smaller than the screen, it only started happening about a week ago, to get it to fit the screen i have to either drag it down or press the double box in the top right hand corner, can someone please tell me whats gone wrong and how to fix it, many thanks

I have that sometimes, if you just click on the second box along, top right on the small screen, it should go to full screen?

yes i do that and it does but i dont want to have to do it every time i get a new page, ive obviously done something for it not to be a big page but not sure what.

I assume you are using internet explorer?

Open IE, maximise it and then hold down CTRL and select exit on the file menu while keeping CTRL held down

(it might be shift that needs to be held down)

Though to be honest, recent versions of IE should remember the size you closed a window in anyhow, what version are you using (select about ie on the help menu)

Hi, sorry to hihack but i have this problem in ie8. I've tried the suggestions but no joy. I hear a lot about firefox and how much better it is. Would stuff like saved favourite sites be lost if i converted?
