Okay this guy is just being questioned at the moment but you must admit he certainly looks dodgy and this got me thinking about many other past serial killers, rapists and paedophiles that after they're apprehended and you see their photo's you always think aah yes he definitely looks suspicious. Will the police one day maybe use this facial recognition software to make a link with certain facial expressions or features to keep an eye on suspected criminals before they commit a crime?

maybe they look evil because they are. But dont think its fair to tar every grumpy sod with same brush, jack dee would be locked up straight away. And quentin tarantino should be sectioned with his sick thoughts.

Kriistine....LOL...you took quite a beating....LOL....no big deal as I think it is quite an interesting question, but no, looks are not diagnostic.

Now, you, male or female, are walking home late on night, alone and to continue your journey, you have two well lit underpasses to choose to transverse.

One underpass has a man, unkempt, badly dressed, dishevelled, sinister looking and scowling.

The other underpass has a well dressed, clean cut appearance, and smiling.

Which underpass would you take?

Maybe it works the other way round. People who look 'shifty' are often treated with distrust and shunned, making them social outsiders and maybe sometimes leading them to commit socially unacceptable crimes....
