Name me a country that doesn't have an honours system then, both military and domestically...........in fact, in my globetrotting, I came to the theories that the poorer the country is, the more gongs they have on their soldiers and the more braid and epaulettes on their immigration officials...........

i think some people are well deserved of the honors, i just don't see how poncing about of telly or stage would get you there

I dont think he deserves one either. He doesnt do much (if anything) for charity, and I dont think he is funny, he is just a rude old man.

Lets face it, he and loads of others in the entertainment industry are paid an absolute fortune for doing a job they enjoy so why on earth should he get a 'medal' for it!! What about all the ordinary people who go out to work and yet still find time to help charities.
No - he shouldn't get honoured!!
