I notice several people are doing this one, so apologies for any duplication.
The answers are all flowers. Thanks.

1) Coward wrote it but I drink it (6,5). (I have Bitter Sweet but can anyone explain why this is correct?)
2) I hear I'm on my way here, almost (9) (someone has suggested amaryliss but again I can't see why that is correct)
3) Flowers in June, yet common in November (5) (Is this simply ember?)
4) Three-toed avian mimic (9,7)
5) sprightly dancer (8)
6) Schubert's time (5)
