Why this one?

With people being murdered every day of the week, why is the news so full of the murder of Jo Yeates? What is it about this one that makes it so newsworthy? I actually think they know who did it, because they don't seem to be looking too hard for anyone.

They have more info they are not telling at the moment. Let the murderer think they have nothing and then drop a bombshell...
Mind games...

I think it was because it was Christmas, everyone is with their family having fun and for her to go missing the way she did, you kind of felt negative straight away, I know I did, my gut just dropped, knowing it would be a bad ending.
And then the body found right on Christmas, not what we all wanted for her, it leaves no chances left its the last nail.
So I think its the fact, it's family oriented period, people off work to read the press and watch live coverage at home, and then the early arrest of a person Jo trusted, led to more coverage,
The Bath Chef missing story last year went on for a long time too, I think it's when it's someone nice and friendly it makes us all realise no ones safe
