Hi micmak, here in Devon we switched over a while ago and the picture still breaks up on Freeview. Got a new Aerial and different Freeview box but still didn't help. Doesn't happen all the time but still not as good as the old analogue channels. I had to switch to Sky to get decent picture.

Quasi... go into MENU on your hand set scroll down to channels ok that then installation should pop up..ok that and you ought to get a message do you want to install ....etc etc... select yes ok that..then just wait 'till it retunes and a picture will pop up when all finished. this could tale about 5 mins or so !
