Why not have it re-cast mixed with white gold or silver to match your engagement ring - you will know that your mum's ring is part of your wedding ring.

what should I do if Irun out of KY Jell

I'm led to believe you can get a gold ring Rhodiamised to bring it up to white gold standards. Every now and then your advised to re rhodiamise your white gold to bring back the sparkle that was initially there. Correct me if im wrong.

My friend got her Gold wedding ring coated in white gold for her wedding day so that it matched the silvery colour scheme that was going on.  She said it fades after a while but you can get it redone.
