oops IE not able to connect try google

Hi can anyone help when I try to go onto a local forum that is on a sort of semi private HTTP site with Internet Explorer only, the originator has said it is not available on google (not sure why ?) i dont get anywhere, is it something to do with my IE options /advanced tick box ? thanks for any replies Tez

Impossible to know how the person has set up the forum. You need to contact them.

thanks SB my error found it is not a forum!, only a presentation of events results and general info of/for our fishing club members, others seem to be able to get onto the site and i don't, thanks Tez
