In which country no longer in existence would you have found the Field of Blackbirds.?
This question is bothering me because if it is Yugoslavia, it suggests the name of the field came into being while the country was called Yugoslavia. Yet the Field of the Blackbirds dates from at least as far back as 1389 when the Battle of Kosovo took place at that site, before anyone had ever heard of Yugoslavia. The status and names of the country/ies have changed so often since 1389 why does the question align the Field of Blackbirds just with Yugoslavia. Am I even on the right track with this question I am confused. Any ideas please
Thanks alexanderd. But the problem is that Kosovo still exists, and the question says which country no longer in existence. That is why I am not getting this question
It is in Kosovo, which still exists, which in turn was in Yugoslavia which no longer exists, so I would say the latter is the answer. I don't think it suggests that the country was called Yugoslavia at the time.
