I am pleased to say that I have started going back to the gym after the Christmas festivities.

This week I've been concentrating more on Cardio workouts rather than splitting it to Cardio and Weights combined.

After doing about 1 hour of Cardio on Monday and Tuesday, I don't feel as much of the benefit of doing Cardio and Weights.

Is it more beneficial for my fitness and weightloss for me to do Cardio for 40 mins and Weights for about 20 mins 3 times a week or only Cardio for 1 hours 3 times a week.

I am looking to achieve weightloss.

Thanks for any advice given.

Hi,

The way I see and do things, the best thing for maximum "fat" loss is a combination of cardio and weights. Do you want to lose weight or lose body fat?
