In the end, whichever aid you chose, if you really want to stop, it'll probably work.

This bloke, though full of himself at times, knows what he's talking about. "The Easy Way to Stop Smoking" (his book), together with patches, worked for me. I set myself a date to stop a fortnight ahead and had my last fag at 23.55 on 30/4/04. I've never wanted one since after being on 60 a day. I still can't believe I've done it.
Dear Dove
Hypnosis will surely do the trick if you have the motivation. I know it sounds like an easy way for the hypnotherapists to cover themselves but it is true. I smoked 30 per day and gave up 2 weeks ago with NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). It is much easier than hypnosis (although hypnosis isn't that hard considering you relax and someone just talks you throught it!) as you do not need to be hypnotised. You are awake and it shouldn't take more than 45 minutes. It is really simple and you can do it yourself...
