Ihave just read the book and was a bit disappointed in it. I was expecting more of a mystery.
Am I getting old and jaded?
Does anybody else feel the same?

As I've said on several occasions, it's junk - poorly written, very poorly researched and just plain second-rate.

I thoroughly enjoyed it.  I'm not normally one to spend a lot of time reading a book so I wanted something easy to read and easy to get into.  I wasn't disappointed and I've sort of rediscovered the pleasure of reading books again!  I find Dan Brown's style simply addictive and I couldn't put the book down.

BUT some people love the book, others don't.  I think it's unfair to criticise the book unless you've read it yourself as we are all different; life would be a great bore otherwise!!!

I read it and liked it, have to say.  Something very 'Holy Blood and Holy Grail' and 'Holy Virgin and Holy ******' about it - though the latter two were written as fact, and very conspiracy theory-ist. 

His other books left me very cold though.  All the characters are the same but with different names, and it was easy to guess how the plots would unravel.

I read it and enjoyed it, but I thought the ending was a bit of a damp squib.

I enjoyed the plot but though the end was one big anti climax.
