So he had an affair with a politicians wife, is that a sackable offence?
If he had been on duty at the time, then perhaps there is some justification, but if not then all that should happen is a good dressing down and relieved of his duties of a body guard.
/// Dai Davies, former head of Scotland Yard’s Royalty Protection Squad said. "It doesn’t get any worse than that. It’s like a footman having an affair with one of the senior royals".///
Mmmmm! I wonder if he was referring to anyone in particular?

Disciplined, yes, but only because he has (obviously!) committed a so called disciplinary offence. I heard that he had initially been transferred to protection duties for the Home Secretary, who is.......? Yes, Theresa May! Hmmmmmmm.....the irony is difficult to escape, innit?
Let's face it, there have been enough Hon Members involved in similar dalliances who have retained their jobs, so why should this guy be treated any differently, just for failing to keep his trouser snake zipped up?
