I've had email consultations with my GP but only when appropriate - for just for a quick bit of advice re a symptom or a medication query. Much better if it's feasible and if the GP agrees, saves time off work for me and an appointment in the surgery for someone who needs to be seen in person. I've done it with the nurse too, she emails results and makes appointments for me, for straightforward stuff.

boxtops....that is not my point.

ABers have said that on-line diagnosis cannot be made.
Oh - sorry, I thought you meant you didn't approve - soz ;-)
I would happily e-mail my doctor for a diagnoses. In my case, I never feel I have any serious enough to see him for and feel I am wasting his time.
