Really, I haven't seen that problem.

Back to staples, I think things have changed with the actual staples themselves as well. They seem to be made out of much softer metal than they used to be and also they are much thinner which can lead to the stapler catching two at once and jamming.

Buy the best quality you can find and look after it.

Chuck ... those bankers clips get caught on stuff. They're a pain.
