1) Is it possible for me to play my music off my laptop (Media player 7.1) through my amp and speakers?

2) And if so what do I need to connect the two?

Entirely possible Obo. All you need is a connecting lead with a 3.5ml stereo jack to two phono plugs and your away.......I have a friend who actually runs Karaoke nights from his laptop and runs it through his PA using exactly the same method as this and VanBasco's software. If you need any further info repost and I'll help.
Yes. You need to connect your line-out from the computer to a line-in of your amp. You will need a mini-stereo jack to phono lead. Best to use the line-out rather than headphone out which can have too much gain.
