Am I a Water Label Snob?

I buy bottled water... when I can afford to. I pay a few more pence for the green bottles of Pellegrino (with the classy blue label) cos I like the look of it. Does this make me a label snob?

I first got into Pellegrino at Italian restaurants because I do genuinely like their bottled sparkling mineral water - but how sad is it to buy their still, just cos I like the label.

Our local water is ok - but very hard. I have no qualms drinking from a tap, but I do like sparkling water so then I buy it in bottles.

Just pop some glitter in the glass before you fill it up from the tap - it'll sparkle then.

Unlike me, my husband won't drink tap water, He buys the cheapie Sainsbury's carbonated water & drinks gallons of the stuff.

Ed: did you know that the water "in the South-East" is not one water from one source? in fact, in any one area of the country water can come from hundreds of different sources - all with different chemical compositions. Just like bottled water, in fact.

i do like pelligrino but being el skinto own brand fizzy water does me very well instead :-)

Only drink tap water and ours tastes good. I simply can't understand people buying bottled water unless they have really nasty tasting tap water.

....and if you do have nasty-tasting tap water, you should complain to your water supplier. They have a duty to investigate and report back to you. They will send an "inspector" who will take samples for bacteriological and chemical analysis. Most of these problems can be sorted.
