How much does it cost and can it be done on the NHS? TIA.

A crown can be provided under NHS arrangments if it is clinically neccessary to maintain oral health.

If you opt to have a crown provided outside of NHS arrangements, the cost will depend on numerous factors eg: type of crown, laboratory fee, practice location and overheads.

I had 2 done privately a few years ago, cost £1200.........

me too, had a private one and it cost £600

I had 2 done on the nhs, but took out a dental plan with Axa first.. paid £10 (now £11) a month, and got it all done under the plan.

but I think you have to be claim free for a couple of months, so it depends whether you can wait!

Yip, I had one done on the NHS last year and it was approx £200. It's a great job though.
