Does anyone know where I can get a really good quality, strong umbrella? Preferably one that can fit in my handbag? I've had ones from Next, Asda and even bought one on-line! All were rubbish. I live in Leicester by the way... thx

Fulton are one of the better manufacturers. Their products are stocked by John Lewis stores. For you, this could mean a shopping trip to Nottingham or Peterborough. The alternative is to shop online:
http://www.johnlewis.com/ (Just enter 'umbrella' in the search box).
The 'Fulton Tiny' range should fit in your handbag. Colours are Spring Red, Raspberry, Black (currently out of stock), Lychee and 'Data Spot'. Price is 15. Delivery 3.95.

Otherwise, just look for the poshest, most up-market department store in Leicester. They're more likely to have the better quality umbrellas than the places you've tried before.

Hoping this helps,

Chris
doesnt matter how cheep or how expensive i buy an umberella at i still manage to break them, and i genuinely dont know how!!!!  Ive paid 1 for one from the pound shop, and 25 from one from Jenners and they both disintegrated within a couple of weeks.  Ive decided that im just meant to get soaked!

Try M&S, ive had my micro-lite brolly for 3 years that i bought in Marks, best one ive had although theyre not particularly cool designs the black or silver is a classic!!

Fulton are also a good brand, ive got a sexy polkadot one from them but its slightly bigger so not necessarily handbag size! x x x
