I did it after being away for nearly 20 years - not easy, but it will be OK!

Ive been back a year...but god its slowly driving me insane!
Think yourself lucky they'll have you back.

My daughter moved out 2 years ago, and if she even contemplated moving back, i'd emigrate.
Does tinks live with you society?
yes, I can imagine!

will you be doing a "kevin and perry" style strop? ;)
MickTalbot, you're back! Well I've just noticed...
I understand you completely Boo. My daughter is lovely and a very good daughter, unless you have to live with her and then forget it. Hell!! I remember feeling sorry for her husband when they got married and if ever I had to take sides it would be his. I love her dearly and I know she loves me, but to live together. A definite No-no. I do not get involved with any disagreements because I know what she is like.
When I split with my ex, nearly 30 years ago, I ended up living with my sister.I knew it was only going to be for a few weeks, and they really made me feel at home but that 6 weeks seemed like 6 years
I went back home to Mum after 20 years and intended to stay 6 months - I stayed 6 years in the end, we were good for each other. I only got my own place when she decided to sell the house and move into sheltered housing. It can work out!!
I moved into my parents when I had Lt Tiggs and it was a nightmare. Was glad to come back home.
I left breifly, to move in with a good mate of mine. Was going well, but his job took him to London and I headed back home.
I have no plans to move out again. My parents have a pretty big 5 bedroom house and they travel a lot. All I do is kick up some money for bills and feed myself, its pretty easy and I have the place to myslef about 3-4 months of the year. I will prob end up still here at age 30, unless I meet a great girl who is worth moving in with and make the leap away from home again.
I do enjoy being at home, I get on great with my folks. But I do want my own property eventually, but its tough for first timers, rental seems the only way if I had to ove now
I've moved back to my mother to get the house straight and she has dementia. Looking now for a local place but close by so one sis and I can keep a close eye on things.

My daughter moved back home after 4 years away, and it's awful for us parents too! Gone is the peace and quiet, I have tons more laundry to do, and cooking!
