Don't you think it is unfair that in local elections, people who don't contribute to the council tax, still have a say how the money is spent? It's obvious if you pay nothing you are going to vote for the party who will give you more handouts because you contribute nothing. It would be a lot fairer if only people who pay council tax get a vote.

Bring back the 'community charge' where all people of working age paid unless they could claim it back on benefits.
Three working people living in the house across the road from my OAP neighbours paying the same as them is hardly fair.
