Libya no fly zone...
Cameron is talking about a no fly zone in Libya, all very laudible, unfortunately we've just laid off a chunk of the RAF, so will they be re hired or will we have to rent some pilots from the local flying schools? Are we going to have Russell Casses up there in Euro fighters? "Payback's a b1tch ain it!"

Sounds enought to keep those pesky Libyans in place (-;)
Amazing what can be done when theres oil and arms deals at stake ! didnt hear all this "military action" talk re egypt and tunisia. I suppose pyramids arent much use to us !
Great idea though destroy the libyan weapons capability...then sell the new friendly regime loads more, totally brilliant.
PS: I hear they have had chemical weapons for some time, why all the fuss now
A phrase with words including horses and bolts spring to mind
Deja Vu anyone ?!

Here we go again, only protecting the oil, some say.
Well don't you think it is worth protecting since the whole modern world depends on this valuable commodity?.
I presume some of you drive cars, are you prepaired to garage your car indefinitely because you cannot afford the fuel that powers it?
Not got a car, so not bothered, well what about the price of food and other goods that are transported by vehicles?
The rise in bus fares, train fares, taxi fares, surcharges if you need to fly, not to mention heating and power.
Yes I think oil is worth protecting, at all costs.

i had also wondered why its always the British and Americans ( and the frogs to a certain degree) who decide to impose these sanctions, is it just the way our press report it or is it that we are the only ones who are willing to take decisive action? Surely other countries rely on oil just as much as we do!
Gadaffi is a nutter and needs to be removed from power but is it right removing him and letting Al Qaeda backed islamic parties take over, surely this defeats the point as the first thing they will do is stop oil supplies to the western countries defeating the point of removing Gadaffi in the first place
