I know there's a one off fee for the sky+ box (is it £99?) but is there an additional monthly charge for Sky+?

I had Sky installed a couple of weeks ago

30 quid connection and 22.50 pm for the packages, broadband and calls

No extra charge for skyplus and its great
No extra charge for Sky+ if you have either movies or sports - or at least that's what it was when i signed up.
Until you've had it a year, and they then tell you that the box is now yours and if anything goes wrong with it they will charge you to come and look at it!!
Depends on the problem.. we could prove ours was caused by faulty update and they repaired it for free. It's also still covered by the Sale of Goods Act, which can cover you for up to 6 years depending on the circumstances.

Thanks all, there's a fee for the box, fee for installation, but no additional monthly charge
You might even be able to get the box and installation for free, i did....

I tried, but no such luck this time
There is a monthly charge if you want to use the part of the box that lets you record. Without paying monthly you will be able to watch free to view channels but will not be able to record anything on to the box which is really the idea of having Sky +.
