I`m just doing a quick scan, and so far 144 objects have been infected,. what do I do after the scan has finished please.

From memory: Wait until it's finished, then click on the "show results" button. I tend to just highlight everything and delete.

It should be nearly done now. It normally takes about 50 minutes or so for a full scan.

I recommend you run a full scan. This will take a few hours but it sounds like you have a lot of infected files. Update before running the full scan.
