Comedy - Four generals are prisoners of war and because they all have te same rank they are unable to formulate an escape plan. Our 'hero' is made a higher ranking general and deliberately captured to get them out. This is all I remember, but what is the movie title?

it was on tele not long ago, andrew duggan (Lancer) and the actor who played bosley in charlies angels was in it, can't remember the actress playing the contessa though.
