you were all very kind and patient with me while i was going through the worst 3 weeks of my life,your kind thoughts and best wishes supported me tremendously,the funeral is over and i feel i have closure now,i was worried there would'nt be anyone there but his friends and all his family were there.my sons took me shopping in harrods after that as i have never been there,i must say i was treated like a princess,they were so kind,staff very courteous and a day i will always remember(got caught in snow storm on the way back)

i havent commented on your loss before slinky but have read your posts and the replies you have been given off some lovely folk..i myself lost my dad in 2008 and my a/b friends were a great source of comfort to me,as well of family and friends of course..but some of the words from fellow abers were so nice it was very touching really..i hope that now the worst is over for you and your family and that you can move on and not be sad but remember what a lovely and special person your brother was and still is..x

Slinky.kate,I am so sorry for the bad time you have had,but at least you are through the worst now,like you said you have closure.I just wanted to say that this place is better than any therapist/pills,I have had so much support from everyone here myself,they are a wonderful gang.
