Cant swallow tablets

Hi i saw my doc today who gave me tablets,even tho i told him i couldnt swallow them.He told me to crush them.when i asked for liquid medication he said it was too expensive!! just wondering if anybody has any tips on how to swallow them .the pharmacist said they shouldnt be crushed.is there anybody else with this problem or am i a weirdo??

My daughter cannot swallow tablets, so usually puts it onto a spoonful of jam, and then swallows the lot - never fails.

I always take tablets with a small amount of food (biscuit or something) rather than water. Much easier.

I have to take several tablets daily and one of the tips on AB some time ago, was to pop the tablet in your mouth and then take a swig from a bottle of water! This works for me - I suppose that it shapes your mouth and you have to tip your head back to take a mouthful of water. Good luck.
