Code not working

I have paid a firm to supply me with the radio code for a V reg Peugeot 207, but the code thay have supplied does not work, and I am wondering if I am not entering it correctly. Does anyone know the procedure for entering the code. I have bought the car second hand and there was no booklet with it.

Peugeot don't make their own radios. They use radios made by Bauppunkt, Philips and Clarion. You'll need to try to work out which model is used in your car.

they can only give you code it was registered as, if someone changed it since it wont work

Thanks very much Chris. It is a Clarion PU2325A. Unfortunately, their instructions are as I have already tried, so it looks as though I have been supplied with the wrong code, so I have emailed the firm, hoping they will give me another one

I've not seen that in the instructions for Vauxhalls or Fords.

i have never come across a radio from a vehicle manufacturer that allows you to change the radio code..
If its V reg it should be a 206 not 207, and a vehicle of that age could quite easily have had the unit changed from the original.

You are quite right chas2008, it is a 206 not a 207, but the radio is still an original Clarion PU2325A and I have the serial number, so you would have thought that the code I have been given would be correct, but it will not work.

by the way, the serial number is CL0410X002776, if anyone who has access to the codes, I would be most grateful. The one I have been given (that doesn't work) is 3344
