New Computer Ipod Question...
2 Answers
Hi all,
I've just got a new computer at last, and I'm looking to transfer my music from this one, to the new one. Problem is, I have A LOT of music and its all on itunes. I am extremely worried that when I come to install my ipod on the new computer I am going to either screw up itunes, or my ipod.
Does anyone know what problems I might face with adding my old ipod, onto a new computer? Will I just be able to install it and then update it with itunes as usual? Or is there some complicated process which will result in me loosing what music is already on my ipod/not be able to install it on the new computer.
Any advice would be great as I have absolutely no clue when it comes to ipods and itunes trickery.
Thanks all xoxo

Why not try the following:-
Buy a flash drive (pen drive) these now come in a 4GB size for
about 18. See http://www.ebuyer.com.
Fire up both PCs and copy the music folders you have created on old PC to new one by creating/naming them. Plug in flash drive to old PC and copy to it all it will take from old music folders. Click on your flash drive icon left of PC system clock and disconnect drive.
Now plug flash drive into new PC and copy music to the same folder names on new PC. Repeat this until all your music is duplicated on new PC.
Reinstall the software that came with your ipod onto new PC. This should be safe and quick as you still have old PC as a back up until you are happy with operation.
