what a sickening sight!
Just watched Sky News and it was showing the demo in London, the camera panned in on this very pretty young girl who looked about 18, she was smashing the windows of a bank, she then turned spent of energy and was grinning from ear to ear at what she had done...can anyone explain to me WHY?

btw , I still don't think the way forward is to vandalise buildings and injure police, while I am in favour of peaceful demos, this was young people who I wouldn't mind betting that many of their parents will own large expensive cars and houses, who were vandalizing for the sheer want of it
against capitalism???

I agree entirely - I was merely answering the question that I quoted. And I do think it's rather hypocritical the way that such people are labelled "freedom fighters" in Libya, "insurgents" in Iraq, and "anarchists" in the UK.
