Enhanced Pay

Hi can someone give me some information about enhanced pay? I work part time as a Care Assistant and get enhanced pay for Sunday Nights, my shift is 9.30pm-8.00am. I was told that enhanced pay of £1.00 for sundays. I have checked a website and understand that enhanced pay starts from12 to 6am? If that is the case, does that mean that £1.00 per hour is added to my hours? because if it is, I think I have been underpaid for sometime. Thankyou

What have your employer or colleagues at work said about this?
I would expect it to be £1 an hour since £1 a shift seems unlikely.
You will of course pay tax and NI so you'll lose some of the extra £1 an hour.
