Excel Problem

My pc uses XP but for some reason I can no longer open Excel either as a new spreadsheet or saved documents. Any very simple advice how to change this

You could try re-associating the excel files. Find a saved excel file/spreadsheet etc. Then right click it, choose open with, now scroll down to excel or browse for it if neccessary. That may work for you.

Or if your program isn't working fully but you can get a drop down box. Choose detect and repair. I am sure this can be done from a command line in the run box.
