I currently have a flymo hover mower like the flymo 300 but an older version, hubby says it's like pushing a trolley thru treacle and it's struggling now to cut so I wanted to buy the rotary type with roller but hubby says it would be no use because our garden has a small hill, I have read reviews and I am between the flymo Chevron 32c or the flymo easi glide if I was to go for hover , I want a nice short even clean cut and not tok heavy as it's me who cuts the grass weekly in summer
In the latest Which? tests, the very best performing Best Buy mower was the Flymo Venturer 32 ,available from £60. It out-performed mowers costing three times as much.
Have you tried replacing the blade or getting it sharpened? The mower will move easier if it's actually slicing through the grass. Just a thought as it would be a lot cheaper than a new mower.
Mower Blade needs sharpening, makes it far easier to cut the Grass ! Buy a Mower with a collection Box if you need to purchase a new one and it keeps the Lawn in better condition. Loose grass clogs up the ground and moss will start growing because of poor drainage.
