Silent Disco?

While supping in a Norwich ale house on Saturday, I saw a poster advertising a 'silent disco'. Being totally out of touch with youth culture, I had to enquire among fellow drinkers to find out what it was all about. They quickly provided the answer to 'How?' but I've spent the past three days wondering 'Why?'

Can anyone help?

Hi Lore.

You've stated that a silent disco 'sounds fun'. Surely a silent disco should 'sound' at all, should it?
;-)
Hi Chris,

I thought you were issued head phones at a silent disco :o/ I'm not bopping away to shuffling feet!

However it's done, it still sounds (or fails to sound!) weird to me, Lore ;-)
Would be fun to watch one half dancing to YMCA and the other half dancing to Soulja Boy
Perhaps Boabby could hold one at the Clansman. ;)

I'll have to ask him, Lore ;-)
