yeah, it made me smile.  Shame that Richie (Ron Howard) refused to agree to allow his image to be used.   Smacks a bit of self-importance and not wanting to be remembered for the show that gave him his break.

I thought the advert was a bit lame - it was done better in the Weezer video for Buddy Holly some ten years ago. Wow, I can't believe it was that long ago...
