Recently rebooted my computer

Hi i have recently rebooted my whole computer and my size settings are all wrong i have a 17" screen but the object boxes start up menus etc are all tiny. Can anyone tell me how to sort thios problem out and make them bigger.

Does the background fill the whole screen or is there a black border round the outside ?.

If the background fills the whole screen then you may have the small icons option on.

Not sure what release of Windows you are on, but RIGHT click on the Start menu on bottom left, then choose Properties.

If there is a Customize button press it and look for the option called Show small icons and DESELCT it.

you may need to change the resolution, right click on the desk top and select properties then the settings tab then try moving the screen resolution bar to the left to reduce the screen resolution. click on apply.
