I read in Best magazine that the queen of clean Aggi think that cat owners should be aware as to where their cat messes, and be responsible. Our cats mainly use the litter tray, but I'm sure they must go else where at times too, short of stalking my cat I don't know how I'm expected to know where they go.
On the flip side, when my garden has been used by other cats, I but deterants down to encourage them to go else where, which seems to work. I've never confronted their owners and complained.
What do others think?

thanks for all your answers, seems like the general feeling is, that its difficult to keep track where your cats mess, short of getting a cat cam.
That's how catz like it, they hate people seeing them poo.
My first cat used to use the drain in the road outside - too lazy to dig a hole and bury it lie most !
