I think John Smith would too and my political colour is and always has been akin to a sunkissed cloudless sky
He speaks highly of you doc............
John Smith
agreed John smith but I say William Hague should try again too early for him last time
Anne Widdecombe would have been great!
My father-in-law was John Smith.s bodyguard ( also several other Foreign Secretaries)
John Prescott must secretly be disappointed that he never got the keys to number 10
John Smith definitely and I do love William Hague's voice. I think they would both have been good. I was so shocked when John Smith died. I also liked Michael Portillo for a while, but he seems to have disappeared. Back benches perhaps. If William Hague was leader of the Conservatives I would have no hesitation in voting for them. As it is, and as I am a floating voter I shall vote for UKIP.
Enoch powel was spot on with immigration and how full Britain would get.
