Joeluke and grandpajoe- Think about this, Cameron will use "every fibre" to stop Scottish Independence, why? Because Scotland is a Cash Cow! If Scotland was such a burden to the UK why would he want to prevent Scottish Independence?? Scotland more than pays for herself and the Scottish people deserve the right to a vote on Independence.

Of course you can have an independent England, as long as you're willing to pay market price for your North sea oil, clean water and respite from the constant whine that is the English.

I've been following these Scot/English/Welsh threads and I guess I don't really understand the motivation to change or why nobody seems to want (or not want) the Irish.
